MOTIVATION: MAKE THE BEST USE OF YOUR GOLDEN TIME

Make the most of the Golden Opportunity, before bad opportunities strike him. In a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, it is stated that: What is meant by 5 Golden Opportunities, namely: 1) Youth, 2) Time of ability, 3) Free time, 4) Healthy period, and 5) Life. While what is meant by 5 Narrowings, namely: 1) Old Age, 2) Poor Period, 3) Busy period, 4) Sick period, and 5) Coming of death.

Pro-BisNews, -  All humans who are given longevity, experience 5 Golden Opportunities and 5 Adversity. Youth is everything. All problems can be done easily. Because the age factor is very supportive. This youth is very short, only until the age of 30-40 years. Well, as an illustration of how technically to use this golden opportunity, especially the opportunity of time for young humans, we look at a very phenomenal human figure, namely Imam Bukhari.

Imam Bukhari was hailed by the scholars as the Commander of the Faithful fil Hadith or the Leader of the Believers in the Science of Hadith. He is from the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The scholars agree, that Al-Jami 'As-Sahih or Sahih Al-Bukhari, as "the most authentic book of hadith after the Qur'an".

Imam Bukhari, At the age of 10 years, was able to memorize 70 thousand hadiths. Without intending to brag, Imam Bukhari said, "I memorized a hundred thousand authentic hadiths, and I also memorized two hundred thousand invalid hadiths." He was not only able to memorize hundreds of thousands of hadiths, but also able to mention the sanad of each hadith that he remembered.

Even at the age of 11, he dared to correct a scholar for mispronouncing the hadith chain. At the age of 16 he was able to memorize the works of Imam Ibn al Mubarak and Imam Waki '. He did not stop at memorizing hadiths and books of scholars, but also studied the biographies of all the narrators who took part in the narration of a hadith, their dates of birth and death, their place of birth and so on. At the age of 18, he had compiled the decisions/fatwas of the companions, the tabiin and their opinions. He also compiled his date book next to the tomb of Rasulullah saw, in the middle of the night.

Ibn Kathir was very impressed with the memory of this hadith expert. According to him: "Once he reads a book, then he has memorized its contents." he explained. Ibn Kathir continued by commenting, "His memory and speed in memorizing were truly second to none, in his day. His intellectual power is truly astounding and astonishing.” Strictly speaking.

In line with the comments above, Muhammad bin Abi Hatim was also very impressed by Imam Bukhari's memory and intelligence. Quoting the words of Abu Ammar Al-Husein bin Harith, Ibn Abi Hatim said, "He (Imam Bukhari as a teenager) was created by Allah SWT, as if only for hadith," he said.

In fact, Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Khuzaimah judged Imam Bukhari as the man on earth who had the strongest memory in memorizing hadith.

Since the age of 18, in particular, Imam Bukhari devoted his mind and time to collecting, studying, selecting and organizing hundreds of thousands of hadiths that he mastered and memorized. In order to purify and reach the most authentic and authentic hadiths, he traveled to almost all of the Islamic world such as Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

With great patience, he sought and met the narrators of hadith and heard directly from them. No less than 1,000 hadith narrators he met. Until finally, Imam Bukahri mastered almost more than 600 thousand hadiths, both valid and daif. The journey of searching, finding and proving the validity of the hadiths was carried out for 16 years.

Imam Bukhari traveled a lot in search of hadith to Balkh, Marwa, Naisabur, Ray, Baghdad, Bashrah, Kufah, Makkah, Medina, Egypt, and Syria. Among his teachers are Makki ibn Ibrahim, Abdan ibn Usman, Yahya ibn Yahya, Ibrahim ibn Musa, Abi Ashim al Nabil Ubaidullah ibn Musa and many more. He also gave birth to great scholars such as Abu Isa al Tirmidhi, Abu Hatim, Ibrahim bin Ishaq al Harbi and others.

Imam Bukhari had lived in a number of Muslim intellectual center cities such as Basra, Hijaz, Egypt, Kufa and Baghdad. When he arrived in the city of Basra, the ruler of the city welcomed him and asked him to teach. His arrival in Baghdad (at that time Baghdad was the capital of the Abbasid Caliphate), Imam Bukhari also received the attention of the scholars and officials of the city.

Ten Hadith scholars in the city also tried to test their ability and memory in memorizing the words of the Prophet Muhammad. The scholars then exchanged the sanad from hundreds of hadiths. In a meeting, the scholars then asked the hadiths that had been exchanged. However, Imam Bukhari admitted that he did not know the hadith that was asked by the Baghdad scholars, then read the hadiths with the correct sanad.

The scholars of Baghdad were amazed by the intelligence and thoroughness of the hadith experts. Similar tests were also carried out by the scholars in the various cities they visited. And he passed the test well.

Thus, the figure of Imam Bukhari, in his youth, all his free time was filled and deployed to study and acquire various fields of religious knowledge, especially the science of hadith. With the grace of Allah in the form of natural intelligence and the good use of his youth, Imam Bukhari was elevated by the scholars as the Commander of the Faithful fil Hadith (Leader of the Believers in the Science of Hadith). The scholars agree, that Al-Jami 'As-Sahih or Sahih Al-Bukhari, as "the most authentic book of hadith after the Qur'an".

Let's use our youth more productive and useful. And we, at this time, even though we have started to age, but the opportunity is still there, namely the rest of our lives, let's use the remaining time of our lives more productively and usefully, don't lose to the young ones. Let us together, both young and old, we compete to take advantage of the time to do good and useful deeds.

Allah says in the letter of al-Kahfi.

And the everlasting good deeds are better with your Lord for reward and better for hope (verse).

"Positive steps (productive creativity) are the best tsawab, in the sight of Allah and the best (our) life goals".

Let our youth grow and develop in the world of worship. By not conflict and being involved in the world of free sex, alcohol, gambling, destructive life, and so on. Make youth grow and develop in the encroachment of knowledge, life skills, constructive life, and positive creation according to scientific disciplines and experiences. Make youth grow and develop in the world of piety and the world of development for the benefit of the ummah.

The modern era has now reached its culmination point, of course globalization and information will change the shift in the transformation and transcendence of cultural values, both local and local customs, into a more modernist and global culture.

Transformation tools and global information have become the most needed tools for today's world, such as mobile phones, I-pads, computers, internet, android, and others. All of these tools have become basic necessities and most owned by everyone even though he is a layman (not a knowledgeable person), and in each individual this person has prepared and provided them as a powerful weapon or handheld tool that must be in his hands.

This is an authentic fact, that the era has reached its culmination point, namely the postmo modern era. Where everyone is principally free and more globalized. He is free to move to be creative and express himself, according to the knowledge and experience he gains from the global information. Directly or indirectly, their lives are good and bad, arranged according to the findings of the results of their respective opinions.

The appearance of the global world is very beautiful and tempting, there are many colorful values that can be used as a new norm in human life today. Any World Insights can be displayed here, depending on the choice. So they are free to choose their own lifestyle and way.

Hence, with the appearance of this globalized world, someone responds well to it, so they will adapt and get good life opportunities. On the other hand, there are those who respond to him with a stubborn and apathetic attitude, so he will be left behind and lose one step with those who can adapt.

And, there are also those who respond to it with a non-selective attitude, even they tend to choose bad and dangerous values, so that in the end they are eroded in global destruction.

This global era can educate and guide a person to be more advanced, if he is able to adapt well and be able to seize the opportunities available in it.

And conversely, the global age could throw them into the deepest and most dangerous abyss.

Happy are the youth who can take advantage of this globalization opportunity, while always being persistent in faith in Allah and reflexive istiqamah in worship in accordance with Allah's law and His Shari'a. (*) written by: Ubes Nur Islam .
